Katherine's goal is to provide affordable individualised care and education to women during pregnancy and in the first 6 weeks following the birth.
Katherine graduated from Bachelor of Nursing in 2007, with the dream to further her education and become a midwife. In June 2010, she achieved this goal and became registered as a midwife.
In 2014, Katherine completed her Masters of Midwifery in Midwifery Education.
Katherine currently practices as a Registered Midwife in the private sector on the Gold Coast where she continues to enjoy providing care antenatally, during birth and in the postnatal ward.
As a Medicare Eligible Midwife, Katherine is able to work independently and her services attract Medicare rebates.
Becoming a mother is an exciting but overwhelming time. As a mother of three, Katherine knows how different each baby can be (and how busy new mothers are) so has established this service to give mothers-to-be and new mothers extra support in their homes or in the clinic.
Katherine is approachable and practical with her ideas and is committed to continuing her education so that evidenced-based, woman-centred care can be provided.
Katherine is also able to refer to other health professionals if required.
